During the National Day holiday,many citizens found two dynamic sculptures were set up at the intersection of Heping Avenue and Nansan Road and Maluwan in Heping District.

These two sculptures are of a special art form,and their professional names are "Acoustic and Photoelectric Mechanical Art Installation":one is called "Feather of Peace" and the other is called "Harmony and Unity".

"Feather of Peace" simulates the shape of a pigeon's wings when it takes off,which means soaring to great heights.Its shape is also like an abstract "V" shape,which means the spirit of Heping District forging ahead.

The whole sculpture is 3.65 meters high.It combines the modern new acoustic and photoelectric technology.It is self luminous at night.It forms the vision of waving wings through lighting to combine modern art with surrounding culture to create a new connotation with characteristics of Heping District."Feather of Peace" spreads its wings every 73 seconds.

"Harmony and Unity" is in the shape of lotus."Harmony and Unity" is homophonic to the "lotus" in Chinese.It is 3 meters high and about 4 meters in expansion diameter.Lotus represents "harmony and unity in family,happiness in life" and is also the symbol of "peace world"."Harmony and Unity" blooms every 73 seconds.
