All the teachers of Canadian International School of Shenyang (CISS) have conducted a comprehensive and systematic IB course on-site training on April 2. The IB diploma is now widely recognized by more than 2,000 universities in 75 countries, which means that graduates of IB schools will have a better chance of going to a world-class university.

CISS is currently the only international school in Liaoning with full IB program approved by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) is a prestigious international educational foundation. It offers four educational programs: the IB Primary Years Program (PYP), the IB Middle Years Program (MYP), the IB Diploma program (DP) and the IB Career-related Program (CP). The person in charge of CISS said that it would take years of practice for an international school to pass the exam of the International Baccalaureate Organization. CISS is only one year old.
