In order to continuously facilitate the cross-border travel,China has decided to extend unilateral visa-free policy to France and other countries(listed below)to December 31,2026.China has added Sweden to the visa-free scheme effective from November 10,2025 to December 31,2026.Ordinary passport holders from the above-mentioned countries can be exempted from visa to enter China and stay for no more than 30 days for business,tourism,family visit and transit purposes.Those from the above countries who are not eligible for visa exemption certificate still need to obtain a visa before entering China.
