In Tbilisi on April 10, Zhou Qian, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Georgia, and Ilia Darchiashvili, the Foreign Minister of Georgia, jointly signed an agreement between the two countries on the mutual visa exemption for ordinary passport holders.
According to this agreement, Chinese and Georgian citizens holding valid ordinary passports will be allowed to enter, exit, or transit through each other's country for a single stay of no longer than 30 days and a cumulative stay of no longer than 90 days within an 180-day-long period, and be exempt from visa application.
