The reporter learned from Shenyang Administration for Market Regulation recently that Shenyang Administration For Market Regulation set up 50 supervision and inspection teams to carry out special inspections to retail pharmacies of Shenyang on epidemic prevention and control on May 18. Among the 1,029 retail pharmacies under supervision and inspection on that day, 167 had problems on epidemic prevention and control measures. And all of them have been ordered to make corrections, while 65 pharmacies were closed and rectified for serious violation of epidemic prevention and control measures.

The special inspection focused on checking the real-name registration of saling antipyretic drugs of pharmacies, and code scanning and temperature measurement of the customers entering the pharmacies, disinfection and ventilation of the places of business, and the execution of various epidemic control and prevention measures by the staff. The retail pharmacies having not fully implemented the epidemic prevention and control measures were dealt with strictly, severely and expeditiously for further strengthening the awareness of entity responsibility of retail pharmacies, and the epidemic prevention and control of them.  

In addition, in order to further push retail pharmacies do the epidemic prevention and control work well, give full play to the roles as the sentinel points and early warning radars for the epidemic prevention and control, Shenyang Administration for Market Regulation produced responsibility notification, and distributed it to more than 5100 pharmacies of Shenyang, informed, supervised and urged the pharmacies to strengthen the entity responsibility, execute real-name registration and submission work of saling antifebrile drugs, and implement epidemic prevention and control measures such as code scanning and temperature measurement in the places of business strictly.

Shenyang will firmly suspend business for rectification to the enterprises that have not fully implemented the epidemic prevention and control work, and they will be reported, investigated and punished. Those suspected of violating laws and regulations will be severely punished in accordance with the law and regulations. At the same time, such enterprises will be given priority supervision and listed as trust-breaking enterprises for public exposure. Those suspected of committing crimes shall be transferred to public security organs according to law.
