According to the unified work arrangement of the Shenyang Municipal People's Government, the urban-rural construction department plans to start the construction of the third phase of the Shenyang-Baihe High-speed Railway Changbazhong Road Highway and Railway Combined Bridge on the evening of February 23, 2024, and the project will be undergone until June 30.

Changbazhong Road Highway and Railway Combined Bridge is a triple-carriageway road currently. The 14-meter-wide section in the middle is a two-way 4-lane main road for motorized vehicles, the auxiliary roads on both sides are 6-meter-wide motorized and non-motorized vehicle mixed roads, and the section on the edge stone is 3-meter-wide sidewalk. The third phase of construction mainly involves the construction of new railway bridge. The construction comprises two parts: the lower structure construction and the upper cast-in-place beam construction. The details are as follows:

The lower structure construction will occupy 3.5-meter-wide motorized vehicle lane on the main road and 6-meter-wide road on the auxiliary road.

Full framing will be used in the upper cast-in-place beam construction, so that vehicles and pedestrians should pass through from the lower archway, but the height limit for vehicles will be unchanged.

During the construction period, two-way 2-lane motorized vehicle traffic will be ensured in the middle section. Non-motorized vehicles and pedestrians can pass through from the sidewalks on both sides of the curbstones.
