5G has been applied in many fields such as culture, education, medical treatment and transportation in Shenyang at present, among which the industrial application is the highlight. 

China Mobile Shenyang Branch has planned to build dozens of 5G base stations in 5G application demonstration areas such as BMW Brilliance and SIASUN Robot & Automation to provide 5G network services and carry out applications so far. Taking SIASUN Robot & Automation as an example, 5G intelligent patrol robot jointly developed by China Mobile and SIASUN has been approved by National Development and Reform Commission with special funds. It can rely on GPS, laser and other navigation technologies to achieve autonomous navigation, self-help obstacle avoidance, automatic inspection, self-charging and routine patrol/special patrol/remote control three working modes. It has the function of intelligent recognition of human body, face, license plate and automatic analysis of sensor data returned by the robot, and the function of timely warning of abnormal situations on the spot video picture. The robots can be used in special factories such as the factories with dangerous chemicals, airports, railway stations and other places with a high density of people to replace human beings to carry out patrol inspection in areas with complex and harsh environment.
