At the activity site, many foreign friends were attracted by the special event of "winter swimming".

Andreas from Germany has been working in Shenyang for three years. Every year, he comes to participate in winter swimming activities.

"I've never had this sport before. The first winter swimming I ever had was in Shenyang. This is the third time I have come to participate in such activities. I still remember the first time I came here to experience winter swimming, and I felt like I was frozen into ice, which was crazy."

This time, Andreas took his wife and three children to try this sport.

"Our family likes sports very much. Later, I will take my 11-year-old daughter and 9-year-old daughter into the water to let them feel the happiness of winter in Shenyang."

It is reported that Shenyang winter swimming has a strong influence in China.

Every winter, there are winter swimmers in Beiling Park, Winter Swimming Base of Shenhe District and other places in Shenyang.

At present, the number of people who insist on winter swimming in Shenyang every year has exceeded 1,000.
