The long-anticipated Shenyang-Baihe section of the Shenyang-Jiamusi High-Speed Railway (Shenyang-Baihe HSR) has made a new progress.

On the morning of September 4,a CR400bf-g train was waiting for passengers to board on the Platform 1 of Shenyangbei Railway Station.At 8 o'clock,the train slowly pulled out of the platform.This marks that the Shenyang-Baihe HSR,a key long-distance high-speed railway in Northeast China,began its simulated passenger trial operation.

The simulated passenger trial operation is the final "warm-up" before the official opening and operation of the Shenyang-Baihe HSR.During this period, the Shenyang Railway Bureau of China State Railway Group will organize EMU train operations in accordance with the basic operational diagram of the simulated operation test. All work including dispatching, passenger transport, transportation and maintenance, will be conducted under conditions simulating official operational scenarios.This approach aims to evaluate the adaptability and stability of individual systems and the overall system, and to refine the transportation organization plan in a scientific and systematic manner.

The main line of the Shenyang-Baihe HSR starts from Shenyangbei Railway Station and runs through Shenyang, Fushun, Tonghua, Baishan and Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, and ends at Changbaishan Raiway Station.The Shenyang-Baihe HSR is 430 kilometers long with a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour. There are a total of 10 stations along the line, including Shenyangbei, Boguan, Fushun, Donghanjia, Xinbin, Tonghua, Baishandong, Jiangyuandong, Changbaishanxi and Changbaishan.

Upon the opening of the Shenyang-Baihe HSR, the shortest travel time from Beijing Chaoyang Railway Station to Changbaishan Railway Station is reduced to 4 hours and 33 minutes, and from Shenyangbei Railway Station to Changbaishan Railway Station to 1 hour and 53 minutes. This represents a decrease of 1 hour and 23 minutes and 1 hour and 31 minutes, respectively, compared to the current schedule.
