The launching ceremony of "City Walk Cinema 2025" took place at the Hongmei Park recently.This marks the starting of the 1,000 public welfare film screenings in Shenyang in 2025.

Shenyang Film Co., Ltd. is responsible for Shenyang public welfare film screening work. Based on the previous years' screenings, this year's event, themed "City Walk Cinema 2025", has undergone comprehensive innovation and upgrading. With film screening as the core, it integrates Shenyang's tourist routes, popular film cultural and creative products and interactive technology, enabling more people to "follow films to tour Shenyang".

In terms of the source of films, Shenyang Film Co., Ltd. has selected high-quality domestic films this year, adding more types of films that the masses like, such as comedy, drama and animation. According to the plan, the number of films to be screened has reached 200.

In terms of screening locations, the Shenyang public welfare film screening aims to create a "walking light and shadow theater". It plans to add 30 Citywalk pop-up spots to the over 100 existing locations, enriching urban nightlife through films. Additionally, the organizer will partner with popular tourist spots to create immersive modern viewing sites based on the characteristics of the venues.
