Starting from April 1,China State Railway Group will expand its loyalty program to offer increased reward points for passengers aged 60 and above,and the reward points can be redeemed for train tickets.

Foreigners with permanent residency in China are also eligible for this program.

Starting from April 1,China State Railway Group will expand its loyalty program to offer increased reward points for passengers aged 60 and above based on the current"Railway Smooth Travel"frequent traveler membership service,and the reward points can be redeemed for train tickets.The program is open to elderly passengers who hold one of the following valid identification documents:Resident Identity Card,Hong Kong and Macao Resident Permit,Taiwan Resident Permit,Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents,Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents,and Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card.

At present,frequent railway travelers can earn points equal to five times the ticket price after buying tickets and taking trains.The points can be redeemed for train tickets for themselves or designated passengers.100 points can be redeemed for 1 yuan.The tickets purchased by redeeming points can be changed once with points collected as a rescheduling fee,but are not refundable and not available with the service of changing the destination.

From April 1,while regular members earn points equal to five times the ticket price,senior members aged 60 and above will receive 15 times the ticket price in reward points when buying tickets for passenger trains(excluding tourist trains and international trains).For example,a senior member of the program who spends 1,000 yuan on train tickets will receive 15,000 points,which can be redeemed for tickets worth 150 yuan.
