81,800 passenger trips!Shenyang Taoxian International Airport hits a record high at single-day passenger volume.

On February 4, the eight-day Spring Festival holiday concluded. During this period, Shenyang Taoxian International Airport handled a total of 3,888 flights, up 1.8% year on year, and the airport recorded a passenger throughput of 600,000, up 1.7% year on year.

Since the beginning of this year's Spring Festival travel rush, Shenyang airport has demonstrated a consistent upward trend in operations. From January 14, the inaugural day of the travel rush, to February 4, the airport saw a 3% growth in flight movements and a 6.8% growth in passenger volume compared to the corresponding period last year. On February 4 (the seventh day of the Lunar New Year), the single-day passenger volume amounted 81,800, reaching a new historical high.

During the Spring Festival travel rush,Shenyang airport adds 10 flights every day,with average daily flight movements totaling about 545.

Shenyang airport has established additional service counters for the Spring Festival travel rush at Gate 7 Passenger Service Center to offer passengers ginger tea, blankets and warmer pads.
