The first train of Shenyang Metro Line 3 has arrived in Shenyang recently.The other new trains will successively arrive in Shenyang.
As of now,the Metro Line 3 Western Part (Lida Station–Nanliguan Station) has successfully accomplished the goals of tunnel, track and power supply in place,and is sprinting for the "trial run" goal.
The Metro Line 3 is known as the first "aerial metro" in Shenyang,It features a total of 30 stations,including 20 underground stations and 9 elevated stations.
While we can't see the carriage of the train yet,let's take a look at what the elevated stations has been built like!

As of now, in terms of ventilation, water, electricity and decoration work, over 90% of decoration, ventilation and water supply and drainage work has been completed at the masonry and equipment areas, while over 70% of decoration work at the public area has been completed. The external facade decoration and auxiliary curtain wall construction for the elevated stations are currently in progress.
In terms of equipment work, the installation and cable laying of signal devices on the main line have been completed and the commissioning is undergoing. The overhead contact system is also in the commissioning phase. Additionally, trains for Metro Line 3 are being progressively delivered to the BMW Vehicle Depot. The opening of Shenyang's first "aerial metro" can be expected soon.
