Two months ahead of schedule!The south extension project of Changqing Street Expressway,one of the 2nd phase construction projects of Shenyang Expressway,was the first to be opened to traffic.

The newly built expressway is flat and wide,enabling fast passage without signals and greatly solving traffic congestion.It is more convenient for Shenyang people to travel.

The main road of the south extension project of Changqing Street Expressway has six lanes in both directions and the auxiliary road has four lanes in both directions, forming a network of urban external transportation together with the Third Ring Road (City Ring Expressway).This enables quick passage between Changqing Street Expressway and the Third Ring Road Expressway, and also alleviates traffic congestion on Qingnian Street, the Second Ring Road and others.

At present, five expressway projects including Yuanjiang Street–The Third Ring Road Interchange and Sujiatun South Interchange, are being constructed efficiently and promoted with high standards.After all the projects are completed and put into use, the mileage of Shenyang Expressway will be increased from 369 kilometers to 388 kilometers, and a modern, comprehensive and stereoscopic transportation network will be built to drive industry with transportation, help economic and social development, and facilitate people's travel.
