Good news!Overseas bankcards are enabled to buy Shenyang Metro tickets.

In order to better cater to the diverse payment needs of overseas individuals in Shenyang, improve the payment convenience level and enhance passenger travel experience, the Business Management Department of People's Bank of China Liaoning Branch and the Shenyang Metro Group jointly started to offer POS (point of service) machines at 20 metro stations near "three railway stations and one airport", popular scenic spots and commercial areas on June 26 to accept overseas bankcards to buy tickets and process related services at the manual service windows.

The 20 stations include Pangjiangjie Station, Dongzhongjie Station, Zhongjie Station, Qingniandajie Station, Taiyuanjie Station, Shenyangzhan Station, Tiexiguangchang Station, Taoxianjichang Station, Shengbowuguan Station, Aotizhongxin Station, Gongyezhanlanguan Station, Shifuguangchang Station, Shenyangbeizhan Station, Zhongyiyaodaxue Station, Beilinggongyuan Station, Hezuojie Station, Changbainan Station, Shenyangnanzhan Station, Huaihejieshenyi'eryuan Station and Changqingnanjie Station.

The POS machines can accept the bankcard channels including VISA, Master Card, JCB, Diners Club, Discover Card, AE and China UnionPay.
