Here comes good news from Shenyang Metro Line 3!

With the completion of the pouring of the last roof slab,the main structure of Zhongdedajie Station of Shenyang Metro Line 3,which was built by China Railway No.2 Group Co., Ltd,was successfully capped,marking a new breakthrough in the construction progress of the project.

Metro Line 3 is known as Shenyang's first "elevated metro". The total length of the first phase of Shenyang Metro Line 3 is about 41 kilometers with 30 stations. Among them, there are 21 underground stations and 9 elevated stations.

The structure of Zhongdedajie Station is a single-column elevated three-story side platform station. The first floor is an elevated floor, the second floor is a station hall floor, and the third floor is a platform floor. The main building area is 6,405.7 square meters, and the platform width is 7.5 meters +7.5 meters. The outer outline of the station structure is 122.8 meters in length and 22.2 meters in width.

It took just 2 months and 7 days to complete the construction of the main structure of the project , setting a new record for the fastest construction progress in the western section of Shenyang Metro Line 3. It is expected that after the completion of civil engineering work on May 20, the subsequent work will be track laying and decoration, to lay a foundation for the goal of the western section of Metro Line 3 being put into trial operation by the end of the year.
