The track-laying construction of the East Extension Line of Shenyang Metro Line 1 is progressing in an orderly manner,and the track-laying task is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

The East Extension Line of Shenyang Metro Line 1 starts from the rear section of Limingguangchang Station, the terminal of Metro Line 1, and ends at the Shuangma Station in the east. The track-laying length of the main line is 36.655 kilometers, with 18 sets of simple turnouts and 2 sets of double crossovers.

There are three track-laying bases for the line, namely, Zhiwuyuan Station track-laying base,Donglinggongyuan Station track-laying base, and the Dongnong open-cut section track-lying base.

Up to now, 718 meters of general monolithic track bed and 1,434.545 meters of steel spring floating slab track bed have been laid in total. The right track of Boguanbeidajie-Zhiwuyuan section has been successfully completed, and the left track of Boguanbeidajie-Zhiwuyuan section is being laid.

The track-laying task is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

Qin Hongfei, the construction person in charge of the Project of East Extension Line of Shenyang Metro Line 1 undertaken by China Railway 15th Bureau Group Corporation Limited, said that in the face of the tense construction period, complex working procedures and cross-construction operations of multi-professional units, the Shenyang Metro Group and the Project Department of China Railway 15th Bureau Group Corporation Limited sort out the key and difficult points and key links in the project in detail, reverse the construction period and carry out the track-laying construction efficiently. By this way, multiple working surfaces can be formed as soon as possible to accelerate the construction of the East Extension Line of Shenyang Metro Line 1 and ensure that the track-laying task can be completed successfully by the end of this year.
