1. Fill out the VISA / STAY PERMIT / RESIDENCE PERMIT APPLICATION FORM.

2. Submit the photo as required.

3. Submit the residence registration certificate (original and copy) issued by local police station or hotel.

4. Submit the valid passport or valid international travel documents (original and copy). Pages required are personal information page, valid visa page and the page for this entry.

5. Submit the work permit (original and copy) issued by local Human Resources, Social Security, and Foreign Experts Departments such as employment certificate for foreigners and foreign experts certificate.

6. Submit the certifying documents issued by the employing entity, specifying the period of employment and the specific job content.

7. The employing entity needs to put on file in the entry and exit department of public security organization.

8. Submit the employing entity duplicated documentation of business license with the annually eligible mark (original and copy).

9. Enterprises with foreign investment and joint ventures also need to submit instrument of ratification with the annually eligible mark (original and copy).

10.Education and training institutions also need to provide qualification certificate for hiring foreigners with the annually eligible mark, and school license (original and copy).

11. Representatives of foreign-invested enterprises need to conduct the approval of sitting before applying. Materials required are: application for foreign enterprises, business license for foreign enterprises, the appointment letter of the chief representative of foreign enterprise, a copy of the chief representative passport or ID, rental contract of foreign enterprises site in Shenyang, a copy of the property certificate of the landlord (ID of the owner of private property). After the approval for sitting passes, submit the work permit of the representative of foreign enterprise in China, and registration certificate of the representative (original and copy).

12. Performers also need to submit a duplicate copy of the business license (registration certificate) with the annually eligible mark provided by local employing entity and record-keeping certificate of performing venues and operation units (original and copy). Approval for performance provided by competent department of culture is also required.

13. Foreign high-level talented people and urgently needed talents who enter China with other visas will also need to submit certification materials issued by relevant departments of Chinese government and foreign expert certificate and employment permit for foreigners (original and copy). Investors need to provide approval certificate for foreign-invested enterprises and business license (original and copy).

14. Submit health certificate issued by local health and quarantine departments or department of health services at county level or above. (Health certificates are valid for six months from the date of issuance.)
