Shenyang Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau recently issued the "Notice on 2023 Government's Purchase of Home-based Elderly Care Services", which expanded the coverage of government's purchase services for the elderly aged 80 and above from 200 communities to 500 communities.

What services are purchased by the government?

In this year, the government purchases five items of home-based elderly care services, including haircut, assisted bathing, making elderly meals, indoor cleaning and living care.

How can the elderly get services?

The community will send the "Shenyang Elderly Care Service Card" to the elderly who have passed the approval. According to actual needs, the elderly or their families can make an appointment for on-site service time and service items through the "Shenyang Elderly Care APP" online or calling the service organization's contact number, and then they can wait for professional service staff at home.
