On September 6, Heping District, Shenyang City, was invited to participate in the 2023 Beijing Forum of China Building Economy of the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS).This is the first time that Heping District made its appearance at the CIFTIS and was listed in the "Top 30 Benchmark Urban Areas of China Building Economy (Headquarters Economy)".

The forum set the part for the release of achievements in the field of building economy development, and the leader of Heping District Government and Kuang Hongguang, the director of the Cluster Think Tank, signed a contract on site to jointly build the country's first building economy innovation and development pilot zone.

At present, there are 93 key commercial buildings in operation in Heping District, with a total construction area of 4.6 million square meters, where more than 10,000 enterprises have settled, with an average occupancy rate of over 85%. In 2022, the comprehensive tax revenue for commercial buildings has reached CNY 5.05 billion.

In recent years, Heping District has deeply studied the development experience of advanced regions, introduced a three-year action plan for building economy development, built 10 professional characteristic buildings and 20 characteristic building industrial parks, supported and cultivated 15 commercial buildings with tax payments of over CNY 100 million, revitalized 53 idle buildings and revitalized 929,000 square meters of idle area.
