On October 29,after 11-month renovation and upgrade,Wanquan Park in Dadong District reopens to the public.The renovated Wanquan Park is a comprehensive urban park with rippling blue waves and pleasant scenery.It integrates urban function display,citizens' leisure activities,ecological environment conservation and other functions.It is also a core park leading the urban renewal and development of Dadong District.

The upgrading and renovation project of Wanquan Park in Dadong District was started in April this year and completed by the end of October.The upgrading and renovation focuses on four aspects:improving the infrastructure of the park,arranging the overall planting space,opening the park boundary,and excavating and utilizing the historical and cultural relics of the park.

In addition,for the internal greening of the park,Dandong District pays special attention to plant selection in this renovation.

▶Northern Area:It uses weeping willow,golden weeping willow,wild mountain peach,red flowering peach,purple flowering peach,flowering crab and other tree species,combined with the use of aquatic plants such as lotus,pygmy waterlily flower,gladiolus and perennial flower to focus on creating the spring flower viewing landscape.

▶Western Border:The main use of Chinese pine,Dandong cypress,ginkgo,pentagon maple,ash,white magnolia,lilac,combined with Chinese box,juniperus sabina and other plants,focusing on creating the autumn landscape.

The completed Wanquan Park will better serve the masses and realize the "green lung" function.It will become a trendy place and leisure landscape area in Shenyang.
