Representing nine countries with diverse backgrounds and enjoying immersive experiences,recently,a youth study tour that spanned international borders concluded successfully in Shenyang.

Eleven international students and their teachers from the School of Global Leadership (Silk Road School) at Renmin University of China completed a three-day tour to Shenyang.

Shenyang's profound history left a deep impression on international students right from the first stop. Strolling through Shenyang Fangcheng Cultural Tourism Area, walking along Zhongjie Pedestrian Street, and visiting the Cheongsam Museum and the Shenyang Imperial Palace, every brick and tile of the ancient city's streets and alleys becomes a vivid textbook for telling China's stories.

At the Shenyang Art Building, international students participated in performances and interactive activities featuring intangible cultural heritage projects such as Li's sugar figure, Northeastern kuaiban, and Peking Opera. From creating sugar painting to learning Peking Opera movements and exploring face-painting traditions, these young people from different countries experienced the depth and richness of China's fine traditional culture in the most direct way.

If historical and cultural heritage reflects the depth of Shenyang,then its industries and technology demonstrate the city's vitality and strength.

The study tour group visited the BMW Brilliance Tiexi Plant, getting up close to observe the intelligent manufacturing production line. High-speed robotic arms, precise and efficient assembly processes, and digitally managed production sites gave international students a firsthand experience of Shenyang's strength in high-end equipment manufacturing and its solid foundation for opening up. Subsequently, the study tour group visited Neusoft Medical Systems Co., Ltd., where they witnessed Liaoning's vibrant practice of driving high-quality development through technological innovation.

International youth representatives expressed that their visit to Shenyang fully showcased a city where history and modernity blend, tradition and innovation advance together, and open-up and inclusiveness coexist. In the future, they will actively promote China's voice and tell the story of Shenyang as "youth ambassadors."
