Shenyang's first immersive experience hall for intangible cultural heritage (ICH) has opened,where visitors may watch, appreciate,learn about and participate in the creation of ICH products,and even take their own handicrafts home.

On March 10, the Immersive Experience Hall for Intangible Cultural Heritage of Shenyang Yuhong District New Era Civilization Practice Center was inaugurated and will officially open for business on March 12. This is the first ICH venue in Shenyang with the characteristic of "immersive experience".

When entering the ICH experience hall, citizens will no longer be mere "visitors", but rather "participants" in the ICH activities. Visitors can meet the inheritors of representative ICH projects face to face, experience the ICH skills, and feel the charm of ICH up close.

The ICH experience hall in Yuhong District adopts an innovative model of "civilized practice + intangible cultural heritage + culture and tourism + study tours", transforming the originally static display into a dynamic experience and study tour. Here, visitors may watch, appreciate, learn about and participate in the creation of ICH products, and even take their own handicrafts home.

The experience hall is located inside the Yuhong District New Era Civilization Practice Center and is open from Tuesday to Sunday every week. The experience hall now features 22 representative ICH projects such as Liu's embroidery and Na's cheongsam, and offers regular display and interactive activities as well as themed events.
