Have you visited Liaoning Provincial Museum's grand exhibition "China in Poetry and Painting —The Poetic Realm of Chinese Painting"?

Among the highlights, the most eye-catching focus is that the Painting of Lady of Guoguo on a Spring Outing,a masterpiece during the Northern Song Dynasty, made a comeback after a six-year hiatus.

This exhibition presents a 300-billion-pixel high-definition image of the Painting of Lady of Guoguo on a Spring Outing specially collected by the Liaoning Provincial Museum to the public for the first time.By swiping with fingers, visitors will be able to see such scenes: the horses' mane are clearly visible, as if fluttering before the eyes; the intricate patterns of the characters' brocade clothing and the delicate folds are clearly distinguishable; the subtle expressions on the characters' faces and the robust physiques of the horses are all vividly detailed. Every historical trace left on the silk canvas is vividly revealed over the course of a thousand years.

This exhibition will last until March 29, 2026. The original of the Painting of Lady of Guoguo on a Spring Outing is scheduled to be exhibited from December 30, 2025 to March 1, 2026.
