Recently, the restored Khan's imperial bedchamber was officially opened to the public at the Tourist Center of Shenyang Fangcheng Cultural Tourism Area, presenting a "complete version" of the 400-year-old Shenyang Khan's Palace and providing tourists with a new scenario to touch history.

The Shenyang Khan's Palace was once the imperial bedchamber of Nurhaci, the founding emperor of the Qing Dynasty. It was first built in 1625 AD,and its ruins are located in the core area of North Zhongjie,Shenhe District,Shenyang. In 2012,when the North Zhongjie Area was undergoing demolition and renovation, archaeologists unexpectedly discovered this historical site that had been buried for hundreds of years. To properly protect the historical remains, the Shenyang Khan's Palace Site Exhibition Hall adopted an in-situ protection model and officially opened to the public at the end of 2016.At that time, the exhibition hall mainly displayed the ruins and did not restore the palace buildings.

The recent restoration and unveiling of the imperial bedchamber have further enriched the historical display system of the Khan's Palace.Together with the adjacent Shenyang Khan's Palace Site Exhibition Hall, they have sketched out a more complete historical picture of the Khan's Palace.
