Bajing Coffee Alley in Heping District,a trendy spot in Shenyang,has been renewed.

The second phase of the renovation and upgrade project of the Bajing Coffee Alley in Heping District was completed recently.

The mascot "Ba Ge",the poetry wall,the coffee cup matrix and many other photogenic spots have been unveiled.

At the west intersection of Beisanjing Street and Jiuwei Road, the ordinary white zebra crossing has been replaced by a special barcode, with the number "6902441781234" subtly embedded in the ground. Not far away, on the southwest corner of the wall, retro green characters are marked on the white tiles, indicating the coordinates: 41.78°N, 123.40°E. The first six digits, 690244, represent Shenyang, China, and the following eight digits precisely correspond to the latitude and longitude of this area — 41.78°N and 123.40°E. This set of "Bajing coordinates" serves as a significant landmark for the second phase of the Coffee Alley.

The spark of poetry has also been reignited among the hustle and bustle. A newly set up poetry wall has become the focus of the alley, with 72 colorful ceramic plates inscribed with ten once heart-stirring poems such as "You Are the April of This World" and "Saying Good-bye to Cambridge Again".

Not far away, 140 gradient-colored ceramic mugs form a coffee cup matrix, echoing the giant coffee cup and the alley mascot "Ba Ge" three hundred meters away.

Turning north from Shiwei Road to Wujing Street, the west wall of Tang Yulin's mansion is covered with Boston ivies, which are still green in late autumn. This 130-meter-long wall is in the process of creating a "Bajing Long Scroll", which will present the old stories of 26 historical buildings in the Bajing Coffee Alley in the form of wall paintings, providing a direct window for tourists and residents to understand the history of the alley.

Wandering through the alleys and lanes,one may turn a corner and have a dialogue with history;sitting idly at the street corner,one may unexpectedly be embraced by happiness.
