As the spring breeze blows Shenyang in March, the temperature rises and the frozen river melts.Birds are the first to receive this "letter of spring".
The Hunhe River in spring is a rest stop for birds and also an ecological showcase of the city.Come to explore its breathtaking scenery!
Site 1
On the bank of the Hunhe River West Canyon section, thousands of waterfowls such as ruddy shelducks and mallards come in flocks. They rest, forage and play in the water, unfolding an ecological picture of the city and nature coexisting in harmony.
Site 2
On the rubber dam in the eastern Hunhe River, geese stretch necks and flap wings to fly to the blue sky, while wild ducks scatter across the rippling water like splashes of ink.
Site 3
Once travelers on the Lijiang River, now they come to the Hunhe River. In the upstream waters of the Hunhe River Bird Island section, hundreds of waterfowls such as ruddy shelducks, mergansers and cormorants are spotted flying or playing here, creating a spectacular scene.Notably, the number of cormorants has surged to over a hundred this year, several times more than before.
The Hunhe River is not the only site for bird watching. In the ecological layout of Shenyang, there are excellent bird-watching sites throughout the city.
The scene "birds fly back to roost with one another" can be seen at various places such as Puhe Ecological Corridor in Shenbei New District,Pearl Lake in Liaozhong District Wolong Lake in Kangping County and Xixi Lake in Xinmin City.
