According to the data from the review, Shenyang, relying on its well-developed ice and snow facilities and rich ice and snow tourism resources, has become a popular city for users to place orders on the Tuniu.Among the tourists visiting Liaoning, the proportion of out-of-province tourists is close to 80%, and tourists from Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Guangzhou and other places account for a relatively high proportion.

During the Spring Festival holiday, a total of 13.4202 million visits were made in Shenyang, up by 20.7% year on year, and the tourism consumption amounted 19.213 billion yuan, up by 26.8% year on year. Both passenger flow and consumption scale broke records.

Shenyang performed outstandingly. The city topped the list of popular cities for lantern viewing during this year's Lantern Festival. On the Lantern Festival (February 12), a total of 1.3839 million visits were made in Shenyang, up by 15.3% year on year, and the domestic tourism consumption amounted 765 million yuan, up by 26.9% year on year. After the festival, Shenyang jointed hands with four major scenic spots to offer about 200,000 free tickets, directly giving cultural and tourism benefits to local residents.

Driven by the upsurge in traditional cultural tours, especially intangible cultural heritage tours, the popularity of cities rich in historical and cultural connotation saw a significant increase compared to last winter vacation. In Shenyang, local cultural landmarks such as Liaoning Provincial Museum, Shenyang Imperial Palace Museum and Shenyang Museum have become hot travel destinations.
