In mid-September,Shenyang's clear sky and cool weather make it perfect for camping.

In Shenyang,the riverside areas of Hunhe River,Puhe River and Liaohe River,as well as the campsites at the foot of Qipan Mountain,and the banks of Wolong Lake and Xixi Lake,are all crowded with campers.

There are currently about 30 to 40 campsites in Shenyang,which are mainly divided into three types.

Type 1

The first type is free campsites planned and built by relevant government departments, such as Shenbei Puhe Ecological Corridor, Hunnan Citizen Park, Wulihe Park, space under the Fumin Bridge and Kangping Xique Bay Camping Park. These campsites require visitors to bring their own equipment, where barbecuing with open fires is generally not allowed.

Type 2

The second type is commercial campsites built and operated by businesses, such as Shenyang Qipan Mountain No.77 Campsite, Shenyang Go-camping Rattle-drum Campsite and Xinmin Xixi Lake Campsite. All kinds of facilities are complete at these campsites, so visitors don't need to bring their own equipment. They can rent different types of tents, grilling equipment and entertainment equipment as needed. Some campsites even provide food raw materials and drinks.

Type 3

The third type is some peri-urban places discovered by outdoor camping enthusiasts, such as Qixing Ancient Ferry. These campsites are located in excellent natural environments, but are less well-known.
