▶Free round-trip ride to/from Qipan Mountain

Hunnan District has opened free buses to scenic areas. From January 15 to February 25, the buses are arranged to depart at 9:00 and 11:00 from the East Gate 1 of the Olympic Sports Center every day, and stop at three key tourist locations: Shenyang Forest Zoological Garden, Ice and Snow World and Guandong Movie Town. The buses will depart from Guandong Movie Town at 15:00 and 17:00 every day, and return to the Olympic Sports Center.

▶Free Northeast stewed dishes

Hunnan District will set up a 3-meter-diameter iron pot at the Hunhe River Bank Market to serve free Northeast trendy specialty dishes such as stewed goose, stewed fish and stewed chicken for tourists from January 20 to February 25.

In addition, there will be a free iron pot stewed dish tasting activity at the Guandong Movie Town of Qipan Mountain Scenic Area at 17:30 every Friday from January 19 to February 24.

▶Free Northeast-style crosstalk shows

Xinhe Crosstalk Society, a local crosstalk team in Liaoning Province, will stage a grand finale at the Xinhe Crosstalk Society Hunnan Theater on the evening of January 27 this year. This performance will offer complimentary tickets for southern tourists in Shenyang. The seating capability of the theater is limited, so applications for complimentary tickets will be granted on first-come-first-served basis until the quota is filled.

▶Free Northeast-style comedic shows

On January 11, Li Bo, a local stand-up comedy actress, announced on social media that she would invite southern tourists to watch comedic shows for free. Southern tourists can watch performances for free at the Shenyang BoBo Laugh Theater with their ID cards. Moreover, she provides a theater specifically for entertaining southern tourists at the Wanda Store on Taiyuan Street. This event will end on March 1 and is expected to stage 200 to 300 performances.
