In early autumn,the world's attention focuses on Shenyang once again.

On August 26,hosted by the Information Office of Shenyang Municipal People's Government and undertaken by CRI Online,the activity of "Hello, Shenyang -2023 'Together on Belt and Road' Overseas Journalists' Trip to Shenyang",was launched.

The year 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative.In order to let the world know about China and show Shenyang's style, the activity invited more than ten overseas journalists from the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Pakistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Romania, Serbia, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Greece and other countries to Shenyang to feel new changes, explore new opportunities and seek new development, to get to know the new urban appearance of the "International Shenyang" from all dimensions.

Mai Ashour, an Egyptian writer, translator and contributing writer, said in her speech that this was her first visit to Shenyang and she had specifically learned about the city's history in advance. Shenyang is known as "the birthplace of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), and the capital of two Qing emperors", so she is looking forward to this trip."I hope every step I take in Shenyang will make me discover the beautiful story of this city and leave unforgettable memories," said Mai Ashour.

During the trip, overseas journalists will walk into the Industrial Museum of China and the 1905 Re-creative Space to witness the vibrant Shenyang with profound cultural history and experience the evolution and rebirth of a century-old industrial city; listen to the echoes of thousands of years of culture and feel the profound pulse of history in the Shenyang Palace Museum and the Shenyang Museum; climb the tower in the Tanbo Art Kingdom to see how the "beautiful economy" draws the picture of rural revitalization...

"The innovative Shenyang respects history, cherishes environment and develops industry. I can't wait to visit Shenyang, a city that creates the future," said Ioan Budura, the former editor-in chief of the Ministry of Culture of Romanian National Radio and a well-known sinologist.
