Good news!New sports venue to be opened in Shenyang!

The newly built Shenhe District Culture and Sports Center Project with an investment of CNY 1.02 billion,is planned to complete the construction of sports stadium,fitness hall and sports hall by August 30.The center will be put into use in early September and become a new landmark of sports and culture in Shenyang.

Shenhe District Culture and Sports Center is located at No. 89 Jiangdong Street in Shenhe District. The center covers an area of 97,788 square meters, equivalent to nearly half of the "Bird's Nest" in Beijing.The center can accommodate 12,800 people. There is a floor of underground parking lot, outdoor venues for tennis, basketball, football and other sports, and an unpowered amusement park.

Shenhe District Culture and Sports Center is the project that ranks first in the comprehensive performance of investment scale and building scale among the self-built venues by the district governments nationwide.The overall center is designed to consist of a stadium and four halls, including a sports stadium, a citizen fitness hall, a book and archives hall, a sports hall and a culture hall, with various functions such as sports, fitness and leisure, catering and entertainment, book and education training and cultural activities.

In mid September, the third stage event of the 11th Shenhe District National Games will be held at the brand new culture and sports center, marking the debut of the culture and sports center in the city.Afterwards, various venues of the culture and sports center will gradually open to the public.
