Two new exhibitions for the 96th anniversary

The special celebration exhibitions of "Historical Witness – Valuable Antiquities Produced at the Qing Court" and "Antique and Variation- Exhibition of Beijing-Tianjin School of Painting collected by the Shenyang Palace Museum", kicked off at the same time yesterday.

"Historical Witness – Valuable Antiquities Produced at the Qing Court" shows nearly 120 antiquities produced at the Qing Court, which explains porcelain, calligraphy and painting, jade, metalwork and other antiquities produced at the Qing Court collected by the Shenyang Palace Museum, as well as the ancient charm and the wisdom of predecessors carried by them.

"Antique and Variation- Exhibition of Beijing-Tianjin School of Painting" shows more than 30 famous painting works collected by the Shenyang Palace Museum, which explains the important role played by this school in the change of Chinese painting in the 20th century.

The documentary of ancient clock repairing

On the occasion of the 96th anniversary of its founding, the Shenyang Palace Museum launched the documentary "Great Craftsmen Convey Time" to reflect the cooperation achievements of the "Joint Repair Room for Ancient Clocks" of the Palace Museum and the Shenyang Palace Museum for more than a year.

The welcome ceremony

From November 16, 5 minutes before the opening every operation day,accompanied by the melodious welcome music, the interpreters in bright winter clothes will stand in front of the Daqing Gate to welcome tourists from all directions.
