opened two new exhibitions!

Archaized Bronze Mirrors

in the Qianlong Period of Qing Dynasty

"Archaized Bronze Mirrors in the Qianlong Period of Qing Dynasty" is exhibited in Jingdian Pavilion.The exhibition will last for 3 months.The bronze mirrors on display this time are one set of archaized bronze mirrors that Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty ordered the craftsmen to make,with a total of ten mirrors.

This set of bronze mirrors is a precious first-class cultural relic collected by Shenyang Imperial Palace Museum.The ten bronze mirrors not only have their own names,but also have various shapes and patterns.There are both archaized works and self-created works.The exquisite craftsmanship and wide range of themes contain profound traditional culture.

The Theater Arts in the Qing Court

"Charming Performances-The Theater Arts in the Qing Court" is exhibited in the Opera Stage,which is a permanent exhibition.

In the exhibition,there are not only rich graphic and text boards,but also various opera props provided by the Shenyang Peking Opera Theatre.Through the exhibition,the audience can learn about the opera culture in the court and experience the Chinese opera in the Shenyang Imperial Palace.
