In the hot summer,if you don't like outdoor activities,it's a good choice to go to the exhibition!Recently,the "Special Exhibition of Enamels Collected by the Liaoning Provincial Museum" arranged by the Liaoning Provincial Museum was launched in the No.5 exhibition hall on the first floor.

A total of 78 sets of enamels were exhibited,and over half of them were exhibited for the first time.

On the basis of the arrangement and research of the enamels collected by the Liaoning Provincial Museum,the exhibition explains enamels from many aspects including what is enamel,its origin,development history,shape,production process and decorative patterns.The exhibition opens a door for the audience to understand enamels.

Taking time as the main line,from the Yuan Dynasty to the contemporary era,the exhibition divides the enamels into four parts of "origin","brilliance","decline"and "rebirth" to tell the history of the development of enamels.It takes craftsmanship as the auxiliary line to divide the enamels into three categories of "cloisonne enamel","chisel enamel" and "painted enamel".The audience can not only understand the enamel history,but also recognize the shape and craftsmanship characteristics of different periods.
