Industrial Museum of China is to have a new look

Industrial Museum of China, located in Tiexi District, Shenyang, is a cultural museum attracting many Shenyang people and non-local tourists to visit.Recently, Tiexi District announced its upgrade and renovation plan.

Industrial Museum of China covers major industrial categories and is the first comprehensive industrial museum in China.This upgrade and renovation will initially adjust the layout of the venue and the division of functional areas according to the collections and the current situation of exhibitions in the premise of not changing the original building structure or increasing the total area.

The new exhibition plan covers five themed exhibition halls including General History Hall,Foundry Hall, Equipment Hall,Intelligent Manufacturing Hall and Tiexi Hall,as well as functional areas such as Preface Hall, Experience Area and Convention & Exhibition Area.


General History Hall

It will occupy the entire exhibition area on the second floor, and comprehensively describe the indomitable development process of China's industry.

▪Foundry Hall

It will improve the visual experience and vividly display the production process through protecting the original site of industrial heritage, reproducing the scene by restoring sound, light and electricity and other means.

▪Equipment Hall

It will Integrate machine tools, automobiles, electromechanical products, major equipment and other cultural relics to mainly display the glorious history of China's equipment manufacturing industry.

▪Intelligent Manufacturing Hall

It will display the current situation and future of large-scale industrial production through virtual production and other methods to highlight the concept of smart and green sustainable development

▪Tiexi Hall

It will create an immersive viewing experience in typical neighborhoods and show the industrial development path of Tiexi District, Shenyang.
