On November 13,"Shenyang-Chicago" cross-border e-commerce all-cargo air route successfully made its maiden flight.

This route is the second direct all-cargo air route to America opened by Shenyang since the beginning of this year.It achieves a zero breakthrough in Liaoning's air cargo to Central and Eastern America,and forms full coverage of air cargo to Northern America.

The first flight of the new air route was loaded with 103 tons of cross-border e-commerce products to Chicago, the city in Central America, with a total cargo value of approximately CNY 34 million.

The new air route is scheduled to run three flights weekly. It is expected to provide nearly 1,200 tons of transportation capacity for exports to Central and Eastern America monthly.It can transport over 700,000 cross-border e-commerce parcels and drive the value of import and export of over CNY 400 million, which can meet the transportation needs of both traditional trade and cross-border e-commerce.

After the opening of the route from Shenyang to Chicago, the number of international air cargo routes currently operated by Shenyang Taoxian International Airport has reached 5, with 9 fixed flights per week.The opening of this new air route will add a smooth and convenient air cargo channel for Shenyang's cross-border e-commerce to expand into the international market.
