Shenyang has boosted economic and trade ties with Russia.On November 22,the China Shenyang-Russia Tver Region Economic and Trade Cooperation Fair was held in Shenyang.This provides a platform and add impetus to promote communication and coordination between the two sides.

In recent years,Shenyang has continued to promote economic and trade activities with Russia,and the scope has been expanding.

▶In terms of investment, the cumulative number of Russian investment enterprises in Shenyang has reached 122, with contracted foreign investment amounting to USD 990 million.

▶In terms of trade, since the beginning of this year, trade exchanges between the two sides have become increasingly close. From January to October, the import and export volume has reached CNY 3.02 billion, a year-on-year increase of 57.5%, and the scale of imports and exports has exceeded last year's annual level.

▶In terms of economic cooperation, Shenyang has registered a total of 11 investment projects in Russia, with an agreed investment amount of USD 130 million; Shenyang has undertaken 18 contracted engineering projects with a contract value of USD 540 million and completed a turnover of USD 280 million.

During the fair, Shenyang City, Tiexi District and Liaozhong District promoted the city, the district and China-Russia Economic and Trade Cooperation Industrial Park respectively, while Tver Region of Russia promoted the state.Representatives of Chinese and Russian local governments and entrepreneurs held face-to-face talks to promote friendly exchange and practical cooperation between Shenyang and localities in Russia to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
