On August 9, the championship showdown of the RoboMaster 2026 National Finals kicked off in Shenzhen. The Zhonghong TDT Team from Northeastern University defeated the Taurus Team from South China Agricultural University 3-1, claiming the national title once again after a three-year gap. This marks the third time Northeastern University has won this prestigious competition, following victories in 2019 and 2020.

Looking back on their path to victory, the TDT team defeated the teams from Chang'an University, South China University of Technology and Harbin Institute of Technology in the Swiss stage, securing qualification two rounds ahead of schedule.In the double-elimination knockout stage, they went on to defeat the teams from Shenzhen University, Xi'an Jiaotong University and Tongji University in succession. During this period, their dart launching system suddenly malfunctioned, but under the leadership of supervising instructors Lu Zhiguo and Liu Chong, the team worked through the night to adjust their tactical plan and urgently repair the equipment.In the final match against another strong opponent, the team members fought bravely and cooperated seamlessly, ultimately securing victory with a perfect win-loss record.
