The national finals of the "Innovate for the Future" 2026 Entrepreneurship Competition recently concluded in Hefei, Anhui Province.Shenyang delivered an outstanding performance through its strong capabilities.

Two projects from Shenyang advanced to the national finals,and ultimately claimed one third prize and one excellence award, achieving the best result in history.

This year's competition, themed "Unleashing Entrepreneurial Momentum and Realizing a Colorful Life", features four main tracks including "Science and Technology Achievements + Entrepreneurship", "Industrial Development + Entrepreneurship", "Vocational Skills + Entrepreneurship" and "People's Livelihood Needs + Entrepreneurship", along with a special track for youth innovation. It has attracted 67,000 entrepreneurial projects from across the country to register and participate.

In the intense competition of the national finals, two projects from Shenyang stood out with their strong capabilities.

The "Tunnel Continuous High-vacuum Magnetron-sputtering Coating Packaging Equipment" project of the Pengcheng Micro-nano Technology Company, based on the technical expertise of the Harbin Institute of Technology, has broken through key bottlenecks in the field of microelectronics manufacturing and won the third prize in the science and technology track.

The "Dongyuan Technology's Key Preparation Technology for Multi-Disciplinary High-Quality Advanced Metal Composites" project of the Northeastern University was awarded the Excellence Award in the young entrepreneurship track due to its solid research achievements and broad application prospects.
