
An intelligent system enabling aircraft design simply by voice command has been unveiled.
The 5th Conference of the Intelligent Fluid Mechanics Industry Consortium took place in Shenyang on July 2.The AVIC Aerodynamics Research Institute released the "Jizhi" Multi-Agent Platform at the event.
What is "Jizhi"?
Zhang Weiwei, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Intelligent Fluid Mechanics Industry Consortium and a professor at the Northwestern Polytechnical University, explained that the name "Jizhi" in Chinese embodies two core concepts: ultra-high speed and intelligence.Traditional aerodynamic design of aircraft requires repeated iterative work by engineers across multiple disciplines including aerodynamics, structures, control systems and simulation. It usually takes months to develop a scheme from conceptual design to performance evaluation.The new "Jizhi" platform takes large language models as its core intelligence system, and empowered by industry knowledge bases, enables AI to accurately interpret design briefs. Engineers only need to state requirements in natural language, and the platform will automatically invoke CAD agents to generate geometric models, CFD agents to run batch simulation calculations, and chart agents to output aerodynamic performance curves. It can even compile design reports autonomously.
Why was the platform first launched in Shenyang?
