
On June 22,the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) opened in Beijing.
A BMW 3 Series Horse Edition,the 7-millionth vehicle produced by BMW Brilliance,made its appearance at the Shenyang exhibition zone.Its Frozen Pure Red metallic body is absolutely eye-catching.
The presence of the BMW 3 Series Horse Edition not only represents BMW's close coordination across all segments of the value chain including R&D, purchasing and production, but also fully demonstrates BMW's deep integration into China's automotive supply chain and its long-standing practice of advancing high-level industrial co-creation alongside local partners.
Leveraging its global engineering footprint and innovation capabilities, BMW has established a broad and resilient supplier network in China. In 2025, China remained the BMW Group's second-largest sourcing country after Germany, with more than 480 local suppliers nationwide. Within the supplier network, around one quarter of local suppliers are based in Liaoning Province, and more than half of local sourcing volume in 2025 was generated in Shenyang. Building on this foundation, BMW continues to work with local partners to strengthen regional supply chain clusters and support high-quality development.
This year's CISCE focuses on digital and intelligent supply chains, and China's dynamic innovation ecosystem is playing an increasingly important role in the development and production of BMW's next-generation technology cluster and NEUE KLASSE models. BMW is actively preparing for the local production of NEUE KLASSE models, and together with local partners, is translating supply chain collaboration into product strengths in electrification, intelligence and digital experience.
BMW Group stated that China is stepping up the development of new quality productive forces. That fits closely with BMW's strategy in areas such as green development, industrial upgrading and digital innovation. Looking ahead, BMW will continue to uphold its commitment to "in China, for China, with China", deepening collaborative innovation with partners across China's automotive supply chain.
