Recently,the die maintenance team of the stamping workshop of BMW Brilliance was awarded the title of "National Worker Pioneers" for its innovative practice in the research and development of intelligent stamping equipment.This title is one of the highest collective honors granted to industrial workers by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions.

With AI to hone "sharp eyes",the team independently developed intelligent stamping equipment.

Stamping is the first process in automobile production.The precision and stability of the die directly determine the quality of the entire vehicle and the production efficiency.The die maintenance team of the stamping workshop has been continuously delving into die maintenance and digital intelligent operation and maintenance,developing a full-chain smart solution of "AI plus die operation and maintenance".Its independently developed intelligent quality inspection system based on AI visual recognition and digital twin technology enables fully automated closed-loop detection of the surface defects and dimensional deviations of stamping parts,establishing a quality defense line of "unmanned intervention,real-time alert and precise interception".

It is worth mentioning that,apart from the hardware procurement,the entire process of this solution,including design,algorithm development,installation and debugging,was independently completed by the front-line team.The related research project has been successfully selected as a key national scientific research project of the Chinese Workers' Technical Association,becoming one of the first batch of national-level technological breakthrough projects led by front-line workers in the industry.
