CRE (Shenyang) Hub ranks 1st for train trips

On March 4,the China Railway Express (Shenyang) Hub,hereinafter referred to as CRE (Shenyang) Hub,celebrated its second anniversary of operation.

The CRE (Shenyang) Hub has cumulatively handled 1,662 round-trip trains,maintaining the top position in terms of the number of train trips in NE China.

Over the past two years, the CRE (Shenyang) Hub has transported over 130,000 TEUs of goods, serving more than 2,000 domestic and foreign enterprises. It has attracted over 10 logistics and trade enterprises to invest in Shenyang, with an average annual import and export value exceeding 200 million dollars.It has successively launched international freight trains from Shenyang via Tongjiangbei and Khorgos ports, reinforcing the advantages of the "dual drive, three channels and six ports" full-network operation pattern, and the number of train trips remains the top in NE China.

At present, the CRE (Shenyang) Hub has a storage capacity of 3,000 TEUs and can meet the operation demands of 1,500 trains annually.The China Railway Express covers more than 30 overseas cities in over 10 countries around the world, including Russia, Belarus and Germany. Its sources of goods cover the three northeastern provinces, the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The goods it carries include over 5,000 types of products in 10 major categories such as automobiles, mechanical and electrical products, electronic products and medical devices.

Over the past two years, the railway, customs and operating enterprises have collaborated to jointly supervise and manage. They apply business modes such as "Railway Rapid Customs Clearance" to further shorten the customs clearance time of the trains, providing more efficient and faster transportation services.It takes about 12 days for the China Railway Express to reach Russia and about 18 days to reach Germany. The transportation time is only one fourth of that by sea and the cost is one fifth of that by air. On average, it reduces the comprehensive logistics cost of enterprises by about 15%, providing a more convenient and reliable transportation option for domestic and foreign enterprises.
