On October 21, the "Home in China—Shenyang Cultural and Economic Exchange Meeting" was successfully held in Shenyang. More than 200 entrepreneurs and scholars from the United States, Canada and other countries as well as Liaoning Province attended the event.

In the city promotion session, leaders from the Shenyang Municipal Commerce Bureau, the Shenyang Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio and Television and the Shenyang Airport Economic Zone, respectively introduced the city's situation, culture and tourism industry and characteristic industries in details. The guests stated that they were willing to serve as a bridge and a conduit to deepen the international exchange and cooperation in various fields in Shenyang.

Additionally, the signing and gratuitous transfer ceremony of "Home in China Service Center" was held at the meeting. The Sino-German Innovation Institute, the Chinese Association in Canada and the Shenyang Merchants' Association in America signed on site. The three sides will take this cooperation as a starting point to work together to help Chinese enterprises to develop in North America, while attracting and helping more foreign enterprises to invest in China.The Sino-German Innovation Institute gratuitously transferred 16 trademarks to the Shenyang Merchants' Association in America, to jointly support and serve the uniting and development of Shenyang enterprises.
