On August 31, China's first project to achieve the industrialization of ultra 100 micron high performance and large thickness graphene film production - the Industrialization Base of High Performance Graphene Films launched trial production in Shenyang Hunnan Science and Technology City.This project is a research achievement transformation project of Andre Geim, Nobel laureate in physics.

It is introduced that the project of the Industrialization Base of High Performance Graphene Films is invested and constructed by Shenzhen Matterene Technology Co., Ltd.The first phase of the project with a construction area of 8,300 square meters, can achieve an annual output value of over CNY 600 million when it is fully completed.

Shenzhen Matterene Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2017 by an international top scientific research team led by Andre Geim, one of the discoverers of graphene and Nobel laureate in physics, and Cheng Huiming, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.The company has a number of internationally leading patents in oxidized graphene's green preparation, film preparation and application.

The successful landing of this project in Shenyang Hunnan Science and Technology City not only plays a vital important innovative leading and driving role in the development and aggregation of advanced materials industry, but also confirms the strong attraction of Shenyang Hunnan Science and Technology City to enterprises.In the future, it is believed that as key projects land and put into production in Shenyang Hunnan Science and Technology City, more development momentum will be brought to Shenyang, becoming a new engine driving innovative development in Liaoning Province.
