Recently,the construction of Heraeus Shinetsu Quartz Semiconductor Production Base Project was started in Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone.

The total investment of the project is CNY 500 million.The project mainly produces high-precision semiconductor quartz series products,covering silicon chip carriers,quartz tubes,quartz boats and other semiconductor devices,and integrated circuit industry equipment accessories.

The project is undertaken by Northeast Company of China State Construction Engineering Corporation.It is planned to be put into operation in June 2024.When reaching full capacity,it is expected to achieve an annual output value of CNY 560 million and an annual tax payment of CNY 45 million and offer over 200 new jobs.

The project aims to build an international benchmark science and technology park for the industrialization of semiconductor devices and integrated circuits to drive the development of the whole ecological semiconductor industry park including semiconductor development&industrialization and supporting raw&auxiliary materials,consumables and process equipment.At the same time,it is committed to encouraging innovative technologies of the global semiconductor industry to settle in Tiexi District,providing strong support for the formation of a complete semiconductor industry chain.
