In May this year,Huanggu Mixc Shopping Mall officially opened for business.In the first three days of opening,the sales performance of nearly 100 brands in the mall achieved the first place in the country,region and city,and 17 brands ranked first in the country in sales for three consecutive days.

On October 1 this year,Shenyang JD Mall was officially opened.During the early trial operation,all kinds of home appliances and digital products sold well.From September 10 to 12,the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday,the sales exceeded 10 million RMB Yuan,showing the consumption power of Shenyang people.

In recent years,the city's contribution to the development of the consumer economy has been increasing,social consumption has become the main driver of economic growth in the city.According to the data from Shenyang Municipal Commerce Bureau that from 2012-2021,the city's wholesale and retail sales above the limit increased from 156.72 billion RMB Yuan to 108.9287 billion RMB Yuan,with an increase of 595.05 percent.The city's total retail sales of consumer goods increased from 280.22 billion RMB Yuan to 398.51 billion RMB Yuan,with an increase of 42.21 percent.The average annual growth rate ranked at the forefront of the sub-provincial cities in China.

At the same time,the social consumption in Shenyang has been upgraded continuously,and new industries such as e-commerce,digital services,smart supermarkets,smart stores and smart restaurants are leading the new consumption to flourish in Shenyang.The night economy has boosted consumption growth,and the city has built 18 municipal night economy blocks and won the"Top 10 Cities"award for the national night economy.

The urban commercial system has been continuously improved

Last year,Shenyang Zhongjie Road,together with Beijing's Wangfujing,Shanghai's Nanjing Road and six other pedestrian streets,was confirmed by the Ministry of Commerce as the second batch of"national model pedestrian street.As the earliest commercial center in Shenyang,the 400-year-old Zhongjie Road is constantly being injected with new connotations and vitality.

The city's 15 key chain enterprises have opened 1,240 various chain stores in Shenyang,and the Lawson convenience store enterprises have opened 100 stores in Shenyang.Shenyang has established a fast and smooth,coordinated business logistics service system,rural distribution centers,"supply and marketing flagship stores"and various express service outlets covering 100 percent of towns and 95 percent of administrative villages,becoming a"national express demonstration city".
