Walking into the Hanxia Traditional Chinese Medicine Cultural Industrial Park in Liaozhong District on June 4, the sea of roses was in full bloom and the scent of them was sweet.

The flower farmers were busy picking roses with baskets on their backs. The girls were attracted by the flowers and left beautiful moments with their cameras.

Established in March last year, Hanxia Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Industrial Park mainly takes "traditional Chinese medicine agriculture" as the core, develops the new mode of "integrated elder care services with medical care" and promotes the health preservation and cultural cause of traditional Chinese medicine.

"The roses grown here are different from the fresh-cut roses. The roses introduced here are Southern Damascus Roses. We are the first base in Shenyang to grow edible roses, which can be used to make rose oil, rose tea, rose cakes..." said Yu Dongxia, the person-in-charge of the industrial park.

The planting of edible roses is a major feature in the park, and in the future, in addition to the sale of flowers, they will also develop products such as rose corolla tea, rose cakes, and rose drinks. "Now we can earn more than 5,000 RMB Yuan per mu just by selling flowers, which is much higher than ordinary crops. At the same time, we can also help local and surrounding farmers find jobs and solve the problem of poor households shaking off poverty and preventing any relapse into poverty."

In 2000, Yu Dongxia began cultivating medicinal herbs and accumulated 20 years of cultivation experience.

There are the flower sea of Chinese herbal medicine, production demonstration area of authentic medicinal materials, popular science park of Chinese herbal medicine, health care center of Chinese herbal medicine, Chinese herbal medicine experience center, and healthy berry picking area in the industrial park.
