On February 10, the "Hello Shenyang" International Sister City Mayor Exchange Day Event (Shenyang-Seongnam) and Signing Ceremony for the Strategic Cooperation Agreement Between the Shenyang High-tech Industrial Development Zone Administration Committee and the Seongnam Business Agency was held in Shenyang.

During the event, the Shenyang High-tech Industrial Development Zone Administration Committee and the Seongnam Business Agency introduced their parks and signed a strategic cooperation memorandum. Representatives from relevant departments in Shenyang and over 30 science and technology enterprises attended the event. They engaged in negotiations and exchanges with Seongnam's science and technology innovation industry related institutions and parks, actively seeking to deepen cooperation.

Seongnam City is an important science and technology innovation city in the ROK and home to Pangyo Techno Valley, a cutting-edge science and technology core cluster in the ROK. It is also Shenyang's first sister city in the ROK. Since the two cities established a sister city relationship in August 1998, they have conducted practical exchanges and cooperation in various fields such as economy and trade, science and technology, medical and health care, culture, and youth exchanges, and have achieved fruitful results.
